When I was introduced to Windswept I was inspired by their passion to be specific for the shape of women. I tried it on and it was so comfy that I didn’t want to take it off. A key feature of the Smocket that made it stand out for me was the zips, which means I don’t have to always have them done up. I found with a dress I wanted them undone so I was freer but with trousers, I did it up. It is very versatile. You could wear it as an outer layer or you could put a jacket on top and have it as an underlayer.

 

One thing that impressed me was the fact that wind doesn’t go through it. When I wore it to the beach I thought I would be cold but I wasn’t it felt very comfortable just with a thin T-shirt underneath.

 

I find it really hard to feel comfortable in clothes but I didn’t feel like this with the Windswept items. It can be really challenging to find something that fits with your lifestyle. As I have gotten older my bust has changed and my stomach area too, but the smocket flatters these areas. The shape at the front doesn’t cling onto your tummy it gives you a shape. It feels like it has been made for you.

 

Materials are something I look out for when shopping for clothes and the ethics of the company the bonus to Windswept is that they use Organic Cotton. It is very soft. I used to buy very cheap and cheerful clothes but as I have gotten older I tend to only buy one thing a year. I spend more money on one garment that will last me rather than lots of clothes that won’t. Quality to me is a lot more important now.
